Mentor for: air quality

Sandra has worked in Greenville County, SC for 10 years as assistant to the county administrator. Since 2004, she has ben actively involved in implementing local clean air strategies. She is proud to say that without the partnership between the county, Fountain Inn Elementary School, DHEC, other public entities, and private businesses and industries, the goal of bringing cleaner air sooner than federally required would not have been achieved. She helped implement the Breathe Better Air at School (B2@School) program at Fountain Inn Elementary School and is helping to launch it at Sevier Middle and Woodland Elementary schools. Sandra has a BS in Economics from the SUNY/Old Westbury, a master degree in public policy from the University of Maryland, and has completed course work toward her doctorate degree in public policy from Walden University.
