Bloom, Jenny (Charleston County Solid Waste Department)
Mentor for: Recycling, composting, enviro-shopping, resource conservation, organic gardening
As Community Representative and Recycling Educator, Jenny works with Charleston schools, residents, and businesses to try to grow the community's participation in our County recycling programs through education and outreach. She has a BA from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. Jenny loves working in the field of Solid Waste and says,, "The idea that we are all connected to each other, our community and our planet through our refuse seems very important and direct to me."
